Student Properties

At McHale Property, through experience we know what it is to be a student...

McHale Property has a range of well located undergraduate properties for students of Cleveland College of Art and Design CCAD and Hartlepool Further College of Education.

These include large Victorian 6 bedroomed properties with en suite facilities. All are within a short walking distance of the two colleges.

Our philosophy is to provide class leading smart and stylish accommodation, backed up by first rate and friendly service and attention to detail.

Student accommodation standards have rise substantially since my studies in the early 80’s. Traditionally students were made to suffer poor quality damp conditions in second-rate areas. Thankfully for students some landlords now offer excellent facilities that are comparable with the private rented sector. Students now expect good quality accommodation and McHale Property are proud to offer first-rate facilities within Hartlepool.

We strive to provide comfortable modern stylish rooms. Typically we use Ikea furniture, double beds where applicable, power showers, and highly efficient central heating to keep your energy bills down. In addition each room will benefit from Internet access and free view TV access. The large communal area will have a wide screen TV and comfortable seating. The house is well insulated with highly efficient gas boilers and modern double-glazing.

Your room will typically contain:

  • Individual lock to main door
  • Comfortable double bed with mattress protector
  • Wooden desk
  • Soft comfortable chair
  • Wardrobe or hanging space
  • Wooden chest of drawers
  • Central heating radiator with controllable thermostatic valve
  • Free view socket and high speed wireless Internet access (included in rent)

    The communal lounge area will contain:

    • Large modern sofa
    • Stylish coffee table
    • Flat widescreen TV

    Bathrooms

    The house will contain at least two showers and a modern bathroom suite.

    En Suite

    En suites are available in some of our properties. These are fully tiled and contain a shower washbasin and WC. If you would prefer an en suite please state when contacting us.

    • White goods include fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer and microwave
    • Oven and hob

    Customer Service

    Unlike the majority, as professional developers we have our own in house tradesmen who can quickly repair any reported safety or maintenance issues. We have a dedicated foreman who can be contacted via a 24 hour facility.

    Safety & Certification

    All our properties meet or exceed the stringent safety requirements required by law. In addition we inspect and monitor the condition of emergency escape lighting, emergency escape routes and fire detection systems on a regular basis.

    Security

    We take your security extremely seriously and therefore only operate student accommodation facilities in known good areas. Whilst we can never guarantee your security we do ensure that you will be in good areas that have no significant anti-social or drug related problems. In addition each house has a secure video entry system and security lighting. We work closely with the police, street wardens, and resident groups to ensure that our houses are the most secure in the area.
